AHHH...
(love in the midst of manila)

who will not resign to love
if it is it that will warm us up
make the veins flow
enliven the dying body

who will not give in to love
if it is it that will provoke the mind
break passé beliefs
motivate the spirit

who will not commit to love
if it is it that will ease the pain
heal the deafening loneliness
set free the imprisoned pleasure

BEHHH...
(madaliang pag-ibig sa bukid)

kailan ba nagsimula and ating pag-iibigan?

at mapinu mong singit

hihintayin kitang magising
at ito'y ating muling
gagawin
(English)
BEHHH...
(hurried love in the barrio)

when did our love start?
was it not when you secretly smiled at me
while i was perspiring carrying sacks of rice grain on my back

what else did it mean when i touched you by the shoulder?
while you were stirring the thickening rice cake
you got annoyed and with a laugh hit me with the ladle

where else should we carve our name?
if not in my rough balls
and in your fine folds

to whom shall we whisper our love?
if not in your soft ears
while you moan to my small moves

now i notice the hungering for the fragrant smell of rice stalks
now i hear the whispers of the mating birds well
now i feel the restful coolness of the showers
now i smell the sweetness of the mango blossoms that turns us on

my cup of coffee is just about empty
my cigarette is about to end

i shall wait for you to wake up
and then we will again
do the same

KOHHH...
(ang yabang ng pagtatalik)

nakakaluha
ako'y dumiriin
ikaw'y sumasahod
ginuguhit ang isang nilalang
naging isa ang dalawa
para makagawa pa ng iba

wala nang daing ng sakit
mayroon na katang kasama
tayong dalawa
tumitinig ng pag-asa
ng pangakong walang katapusan

hininga nangingibabaw
higit pa sa katawan
sa katuktukan dinaratnan ng duyan

naganap na
