Ing canacung panimanman lalaue ya cagiliran,
Acaquit que'ing aring aldo magbangun ya queng pagqueran
Sisinquilan ne'ing bulan qng dalumdum nang pipainauan
Cabang ding batuin maragli langan memagsalicutan.

Qng malaculiauan sulbang ding biga mamie lang sala
Balamu ing DIOS siluanan Ne ing banuang malasutla.
Nanung leguan queti yatung masna capigaganaca
Ustung ining bayung aldo datang yang mitmu bie't diua!

Ding tanaman qng caquewan presco la at macayama
At ding mabanglung sampaga agnan-agnan maniampaga,
Tutung macapagmulala ining samiung sasalbag da
Lalaganap a mayumung pabanglung naturalesa!

Anting sadia detang bulung macaslag lang mayaluntiang,
Papalto lang bayung suli ding maleguan a tanaman,
Balang metung magpursigui ngening bayung cayaldaoan,
Masigla ya ing abac da ring tanaman miyambunan.

Ding caluscus at pamindac da ring bulung babie tula,
Teterac do ring cantata't melodiang miacma-acma;
Ing quislap ning aldo uaring alipugpug ding diuata
At ing malumeme angin munie bie, pagasa't diua.

Ding panilan titipunan da la ring butil mapapas
At ding magtiririn ayup mumuma la caring rosas.
Nanu cayang panaquit pa caniti'ing maigit pa't uagas
Qng Calicasan Larauan magdalang mayap a oras!

Ing larauan macalto yang macawili't macalasing
Balamu ya ing marapat queng yatu midinan pansin,
Ngening abac cabang macalaue cu queng yatung jardin
At maquiramdam queng masna sayang canta na ning Robin!

About the author. Jose Roman Reyes Laquian graduated from the University of Santo Tomas College of Architecture, Espana, Manila, Philippines, in 1975. He took and passed the Philippine Architects' Licensure Examination the following year (July, 1976). He had worked and traveled extensively as a Senior Design Architect in various architectural firms in Manila, Philippines, in Malaysia, Singapore, and in the Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the Middle East. He hails from Santa Rita and Minalin, Pampanga, where he spent his memorable and happy childhood and adolescent years. He is presently residing in Fremont, Northern California, U.S.A. He is a corporate member of the Philippine Institute of Architects and of the United Architects of the Philippines (U.A.P.) Northern California Chapter and works as a freelance architect. He says that his "deep and pure love" for his Amanung Sisuan inspires him to write "poetry with fiery passion." He is one of the twenty-one living Poet Laureates of Pampanga and is a member of the College of Poet Laureates, Parnasong Capampangan.
