-1 cup long-grain rice
-1 tbsp oil
-2 cloves garlic (minced)
-1/2 tsp salt
-green onions (optional, chopped)

Cook rice without adding seasoning the day before needed and refrigerate. Bring rice to room temperature before serving and break apart any clumps. Heat oil in wok. Add garlic and salt and cook until oil is flavored and garlic aroma is released. Brown garlic lightly, if desired, but do not allow to burn. Add rice and toss with garlic mixture until heated through and some of rice is lightly browned. Garnish with chopped green onions. Makes six servings.
